Commonly asked questions about our Dog Walking services
All dogs will have a 1 hour walk with their friends. I always aim to arrange walks into geographical areas but always allow extra time for me to get everyone picked up and then back home. Depending who is ‘first in and last out’ your dog may be out of the house for between 1.5 and 2.5 hours.
Yes! Picking up and dropping home is included in the price.
We all love it when the sun is shining but unfortunately we are governed by the great British weather. As the majority of my walks are country walks, dogs can be very wet and muddy after fun outside. They will be towel dried when returning home and left in the area designated by you at our initial consultation. If you would like me to hose or shower off muddy dogs an additional surcharge will be charged, as agreed at our initial consultation.
To allow for continuity and for your dog to feel relaxed and happy on their walks, I do recommend that regular walks are booked, even if this is only once a week. I do accept Ad Hoc walks but my spaces are allocated on a strictly first come first served basis. If someone requests a permanent place this will be allocated as and when the space becomes available.
I understand that things change and move around in the real world so I will try to accommodate changes to regular bookings with more than 48 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be charged at full rate as I am unlikely to be able to fill this space at such short notice.
All dogs must be fully vaccinated, including Kennel cough, and fully up to date with their flea and worming treatments.
Many of my regular clients will give me a key for me to gain access if they are not home for picking up and dropping off, but it is entirely up to you if you would like to do this or prefer to leave a key in a safe, secure place for each visit – such as a key safe box. Please ensure that any newly cut key has been tested before my first visit. There will be an additional charge for any repeat trips to collect keys.
Yes, I am fully insured and DBS checked.
My van is professionally crated to ensure that your dog travels in the safest way possible.

Many cats are happier staying at home in their own familiar surroundings whilst their owners are away. Keeping to their routines will help create a happy and relaxed atmosphere for them, helping them to feel at ease with their daily visits.
Of course! Although please bear in mind the time to do this when you book your pet visits as watering a multitude of plants will eat into the time allocated.

As much as possible! I always advise clients to ask, even if it is less than 24 hours notice as if we are around I will happily visit!
