Sarah has over 16 years experience in the Dog Walking and Pet Care industry along with a lifetime of animal ownership. Her passion for animals and the lack of available holiday care for her own beloved pets prompted the beginning of her Pet Care journey. She successfully started Pet Carers in 2010, one of the first Pet Service companies in Cheltenham, before relocating to our gorgeous little piece of the world.
A lover of the diversity and characteristics in all breeds of dogs, Sarah holds a special place in her heart for those crazy spaniels and is currently owned by 2 beautiful Maine Coon cats. She has a special interest in all things feline and holds 2 Diplomas with distinction from C.O.A.P.E (The Centre of Applied Pet Ethology) in Feline behaviour and Psychology.
‘My earliest childhood memories involve my beloved cat Tabitha ‘kneading’ my hair on my pillow as I went to sleep, we were inseparable and my love of all things feline was set from there. I have spent my life surrounded by a menagerie of furry friends; dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, a tortoise to name a few! I thoroughly enjoyed the ‘Think cat’ and and ‘Study cat’ courses with C.O.A.P.E, exploring the behaviour and psychology of our feline friends and I strive to continue to pursue my interest in animal behaviour’
