How it Works
1. Select your service
Whether you’re looking for regular group dog walks, individual solo walks or occasional weekend adventures, we’ll help you find the service that’s right for both you and your dog. Every dog is different, so we take the time to understand their personality, energy levels and individual needs to ensure they’re matched with the most suitable walking experience.
2. Initial Consultation
Providing a professional and personalised service is highly important to us at Woofs and Purrs. Offering a free initial consultation not only allows you the opportunity to meet me and ask any questions you need to, it also allows your dog to meet me in the security of their own home and begin to build that all important trusting relationship.
3. Trial Walks
A trial walk will be undertaken after the initial consultation to ensure that your dog will integrate happily onto a group walk. After a successful trial walk you will be able to make a regular, permanent booking. Trial walks take place Monday – Friday only and will be charged at the rates below.
Our Dog Walking Services
Whether your dog thrives in a social group environment or prefers individual attention, our flexible dog walking services across Rutland, Stamford and the surrounding villages provide safe, reliable and enriching experiences tailored to every breed, age and temperament.
Group Dog Walking
Our group dog walks provide a social and stimulating walk for your dog, keeping them physically fit and mentally stimulated. Dogs are carefully matched with those of similar size and energy levels to ensure that everyone is happy and content on walks. These walks are for 1 hour and will be in the beautiful countryside and woodland areas surrounding Stamford and Rutland.
All dogs on group walks must be sociable with other dogs and have exceptional recall to allow for the safety and happiness of all.
Solo Dog Walking
Group dog walks are not for all and there can be many reasons for owners to look for the quieter, individual solo walk. Reactive dogs, nervous dogs, illness or injury and many older dogs do not enjoy the hustle and bustle of a group walk, preferring the individual attention on a solo walk. These walks are ‘door to door’ from your home and give your dog that little extra one on one attention.
Saturday Weekend Rambles - The Ultimate Weekend Walk!
NEW – First Saturday of every month
Our Saturday Weekend Rambles take place on the first Saturday of every month and offer dogs the ultimate doggy walk with their friends, allowing you to plan your day knowing that your dog will be happy and content when they return home.
All dogs must have successfully completed a trial walk with us before places can be booked on our weekend rambles. Trial walks are undertaken with a suitable group Monday – Friday only.
All dogs on group walks must be sociable with other dogs and have exceptional recall to allow for the safety and happiness of all.
